Sometime within the last couple of months, Hollie helped fix my hair. Because of our tight budget, I didn't want to travel all the way down to WVC and have to pay for gas and then I would have to pay Hollie for doing it, and I didn't have the $$ to pay someone up here to cut my hair - So I decided to do it myself. The first time I did it, it turned out really cute. Then I got scissor-happy. I think I totally ruined my hair. I never meant for it to get this short, but what do you do, hair will grow back - eventually.
So here is a before picture - oops, never mind. I couldn't find a good before picture that shows just how short I actually got it. The only one that I could find was from the end of May. If you look at the picture of my family above (in black & white) it sort of shows the shorter hairdo. But even that was better than what it ended up like before Hollie fixed it.
And here is the after picture - Hollie totally helped fix my hair. The length was uneven and the ends were fried. That's what happens when you move from a very humid climate to a dry climate and try to keep your hair as blond as it was in Florida - VERY DRY AND FRIED HAIR.
So what do you think? The color is just a bit darker than my natural color. It is getting to be fall and with a tight budget, well, it's best to go natural. I know that I never wanted my hair to be this short, but I am now trying to grow it out- at least just past my shoulders. I will have to have Pete hide my scissors so I won't mutilate it again.

What is that cooking class you took K too?
Yes, lets share the pics. The class was a playdate with the Founders park ward. It was put together before we split. I think I told you before, the place was For Your Kitchen. They have all sorts of cooking classes for adults, couples, kids, etc.
I think your hair looks great short. The color is awesome. I know about the whole natural thing. I just need someway to color my grays. Yes, I am going gray...

Not everybody can pull off a cute short cut, but you've done it! I think you look great. I like the color too.

I think your short haircut is better looking than my short haircut (it's chin-length). I can't complain too much though because I saw a stylist and she gave me exactly what I asked for.
It looks great. Hollie showed me a pic after she did it and I loved it. I can't believe that you get scissor happy. Are you crazy woman? It's funny how different your face shape looks with shorter hair. When you had long hair I always thought your face was longer and more narrow. Now it shows off your high cheek bones. Like I said, it looks great.
