The Park Family Reunion 2008 (Minus One)
I know I am a bit behind on this posting, but I thought the better to get it done now then wait until later. I decided to do slideshows to help lessen the time it takes to post.
We went to the Unita's to Wil's family property. Pete was out of town and I took the girls with me. I rode with Mom & Dad. When I got to the parent's house, I realized that I packed everything, including the tarp, except the tent. So I went to Wally world and purchased one. When we got there - to the camp site - we pitched tents and got ready for bed. My girls were exhausted, but didn't want to go to sleep. It also didn't help that it was FREEZING and I did't bring enought blankets or warm jammies to keep them from getting cold. I ended up sleeping most of the night with both girls in my sleeping bag. Mom kept coming in to help me with them - Thanks Mom!! The night went on forever and the girls would wake up throughout the night. The next day wasn't any easier, we were tired and on edge. To make a long story short, I was pretty much onry all weekend - mostly wishing Pete was there to help me and to be with me. I felt like I was burdening my family with them helping me with the girls. I should have relaxed and went with the flow - but then again, R wouldn't take naps and K only took one - I think! We did end up enjoying the weekend. Sorry to the fam for making everyone else upset with my attitude. It's just hard to do things like that without your spouse there. Nevertheless, I was greatful to be home and have Pete there when I returned home. (By the way, I never told Pete what happened to K's face. When we got home Pete went to take K out of the car - she was sleeping- he saw her face and was in shock, very concerned. He mellowed out after I told him what happened to our beautiful K's face). I guess I should tell you all what happened to K's face. She was swinging on the famous swing and the rope broke - she held on and smacked into the tree. Luckily the only thing that happend to her was the nice scratch on her face. It has healed quite nicely though - Thank Heavens!!

Yes, that would be hard without a spouse. You were very brave to attempt it. So what did Kyla do to her face, did she fall out of a tree?? You will have to email me the story!. I am sure your girls had a great time!!
