4th of July Camp-out!

Over the 4th of July we went camping with our friends the Bruun's and the Taylor's. We went camping just above Midway. It was nice and relaxing. We went to the park in Heber and they had a fire truck that was spraying water on the Baseball field. The kiddo's ran through it - and some of the adults. They thought it was fun. They also had some games that the kid's could play. They had watermelon to eat - if you like watermelon, they had face painting and balloon animals. After they turned off the water, the field was really muddy and the girl's thought it would be fun to splash in it. Of course, my child, K, thought it was really fun and ended up getting her entire body muddy. R decided to join in on the fun and she too got all muddy. It looked as though they had messed their pants. Oh well, they had fun. Midway had a firework show that everyone went to - except K and me. K had a bit of a meltdown and so her punnishment, and I guess mine, was to stay home from the fireworks. It was alright though, K and I got to spend some alone time together - it was kind of nice to be just me and her - I just wish it was under different circumstances.
