Operation: Sand

Pete, K and I went to the beach one day. It was a really hot day. We swam in the ocean, played in the sand and relaxed on the beach. Pete kept trying to build a sand castle for K, but she kept stomping on it. It was actually pretty funny to watch. So eventually, K just sat on it and then Pete decided to bury her. The funny thing was that she let him. She just sat there and let Pete bury her up to her shoulders.




K just enjoyed the cool feel of the sand. Then slowly, she started to wiggle her toes. Well the sand caved in where she was wiggling, so Pete uncovered just her toes.





K just sat there enjoying the cool feel of the sand. Then I thought it would be funny to make her into a mermaid. Again she just sat there and let me do it. There was this older couple sitting just behind us and they were laughing at the whole thing.



Well, eventually all good things come to an end. She started to scream, she didn't like the sand touching her hands. Funny kid. I took her out of the sand mermaid, and washed her off in the ocean. She wasn't very happy about that. Oh well, what can you do? We had a great time at the beach. Just think, you could too if you were here visiting us.!!
