New Pictures with the family

So one of my good friends, Holly Amos, offered her talent and time to take our family photos again. I love the way the turned out. To use her words, they seem 'mystical'. I can't wait 'till I get the pictures framed and hung on our walls. Thanks again Holly!! You are fabulous!!

He's here!

We welcomed our beautiful baby boy to our family on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 8:01 am. He weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 14 ounces. He measured in at 21 inches long. He has lots of dark brown hair and some awesome dark eyebrows. He is perfect!! I am completely in LOVE with him! He has been such a great baby so far. He is a fabulous eater and is a champ at pooping! His big sisters lovehim so much. Especially Roo. She thinks she is the only one who can hold him. Even the grandparents have to fight her to hold him. At least we know he is very much loved! We are grateful to finally have him here.

On a side note, I was able to get a spinal with this c-section! My other two I had to have general anesthetic. We are forever grateful to the wonderful CRNA Shane who was able to get it in. It was an interesting delivery, if you want me to go into detail about it, come ask me. Too personal to post on the internet. It was something I will always remember.

Now here are a few photos of our little man! (I will not be posting his name, just like my others, to try to keep him safe). Maybe if, or when I go private! Enjoy!

Bug's Preschool Graduation!

I can't believe that my Bug has graduated from Preschool! It seems like yesterday that I was taking her to the first day of school. She has learned a lot this year and she has impressed me at how quickly she has picked up on things and made new friends. I was really worried she would struggle going to a school by herself without knowing anyone there. Well she is a lot better at making friends than me. Her teacher was always so glad to see her each day. Miss Ann was a wonderful teacher and was very patient with Bug.

Well, Bug had her graduation on Saturday, May 22. Grandma and Grandpa Park came and watched her program. I kept trying to get Bug to tell me what she does for her part and what songs they were going to see. But all she kept saying was, "I don't know." However she did tell me she was a cute pilgrim in the program. She was right, she was a very CUTE pilgrim and she even sang the song while sitting in her pilgrim outfit. The whole program was cute and she did a great job. Afterward, she gave Miss Ann a hug and told her that she will miss her. Miss Ann said she'd miss Bug too! Now Roo will attend Kiddie Kollege in the fall. Too bad Miss Ann doesn't teach 3 year olds!

Bug's last Soccer Game of the season

On Saturday, May 22 Bug had her last soccer game. She had so much fun and tried really hard to make a goal. She didn't make one that day, but she sure had fun trying.
It was a bit chilly that day, so she wanted to wear her black pants and her Tink jacket. She still looked cute.
Grandma and Grandpa Park came up to watch. We just had a lot of fun watching Bug and seeing the many expressions she had on her face throughout the game. She really is a hoot!
She can't wait until the fall so she can play again.
Way to go Bug! You played awesome!

I look Pretty!?

So a few weeks ago, Roo disappears for a while, and is really quiet. After realizing that she wasn't in the same room as me, I started to get up to look for her. Just as I am about to get up, here she comes. But wait, I notice something in her hair. It looks wet, but I don't remember hearing the water turn on. The closer she gets I realize it is some kind of cream. She comes up to me and says, "I look pretty?!" I am still trying to figure out what is in her hair, at first I think it is lotion then I smell it. It's not lotion. It is my hair styling cream. That little turd, she used half the bottle. I couldn't get mad at her because she thought she looked pretty and she was so proud of herself. Well, I couldn't let her go the rest of the day looking that way, so I took her into the bathroom, made her hold her head under the bathtub faucet and I washed the cream out. I told her that she is to NEVER play with the hair stuff again. She said ok. Let's hope she remembers what she said she'd never do again. Too funny.

Happy 30th Birthday Pete!!!

Well my plan was to throw Pete a big surprise birthday and invite all his friends. Well, I just haven't felt very creative or had much drive to do much. So I bombed out on that one this year. Sorry Dear!

I did make him breakfast cake the night before so when he woke up he could have something good for breakfast instead of the usual boring cereal. Then I planned on visiting him at work and eating lunch with him and the girls. But again, not much energy and I bummed out on that one too. Well if I remember right I did make him dinner and then had to rush off to work. Unfortunately I did not let him open presents on his birthday. He had to wait until the next day to open them. Sorry again.

When he finally did get to open presents Bug, Roo, and I gave him a new cordless drill set and the girls gave him a kite (they really wanted to fly kites with him), a cool t-shirt, and a pair of shorts. He seemed to really like the drill set.
Well to try to make it up to him for flopping on his birthday, I invited some of our friends from the neighborhood and had a BBQ on Saturday. We had dinner, cake and ice cream. I did try to fill one request, he wanted a baseball cake made with funfetti cake batter and homemade ice cream. (I was later informed that he ate dinner all by himself, he was still cooking the burgers and everyone else was eating before he came inside). Sorry again.
After dinner we went to the garage and took turns hitting the pinata. All the little kiddos took a turn first. Then it only took two adults to hit the pinata. I believe Wil was the one who finally broke the ball. It was fun hanging out with everyone. Thanks for coming and trying to help me make up for a flopped birthday.
Happy Birthday Honey! We love you!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Roo!

On May 11 Roo turned 3! She was so excited when she woke up and saw that the house was decorated with streamers and balloons. She looked at me and asked, "is tis por me?" I told her it was and asked her how old she was. She excitedly exclaimed, "trwee" (three). We made her some waffles and she of course only ate half of one. She relaxed, and then got ready for the day and played with Bug and her friends.

When Pete came home we had some dinner, her request was McDonalds, of course. So she ate her chicken nuggets and then asked if we could go swimming. We didn't have anything else planned so we said ok. Before we left we decided to open presents. She was EXCITED! First she opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa Morgan. They gave her some candy, some cute 'sunshine' pajamas and a cute towel that was kind of like a poncho. She loved everything. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
Then we gave her presents from us. Bug gave her an Ariel barbie that she can play with in the tub or pool. She LOVED that. She also got a Tinker Bell outfit that she really LOVED and finally she opened her last present, a baby doll carseat. Hopefully she will play with this one and leave the real carseat alone when the baby gets here. (By the way, she does take that carseat EVERYWHERE we go).
Roo decided at the last minuet that she wanted to invite our neighbors to go swimming. So Jaycee and Kira came with us to the Clearfield Aquatic Center and they all swam like fishes!
Afterward we went back to our house and had cupcakes and ice cream. By the end of the night she passed out on the couch. I believe she had a GREAT birthday.

Grandma and Grandpa Park came up to visit on Wednesday to celebrate Roo's and my birthday. They of course brought presents. They gave her a cute swimsuit cover up, a mermaid barbie doll and a shovel that she can play with out in the sandbox. She has been taking the barbie everywhere with her. Her and Bug play with them all the time. Sometimes they fight over them, but what do you expect? They are sisters and girls for that matter.
Thanks for coming up and celebrating the birthdays with us. We enjoy visitors.
Happy Birthday Roo!! We love you!
