EAT MORE HERSHEY'S

About 3 weeks ago I interviewed with Hershey's to join their new facility in Ogden, Utah as the Training/Safety Manager. After I came home from the interview I told Cori that if I am offered the job than I would publish my first ever post on our blog. With that all said, I am now encouraging everyone to eat more Hershey's chocolate as one of the newest members on the Hershey's team. I was offered and have accepted to be the Training/Safety Manager for the Ogden, Utah facility.
The Hershey's facility in Ogden will be distribution only, as the good stuff is made in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I do get to go there for some training during the second week of November, which I am looking forward to as we will be visiting the Reese's Plant. I start on November 3rd and I am excited for what the new job and company will bring. I thank all of those who have been such a support and strength to me and my 3 girls during the past few months, including both of mine and Cori's families and some of our closest friends and neighbors.

Congrats Pete!

I expect chocolate for Christmas and all of our birthdays! Semi-sweet to dark only please. Caramel is nice mixed in.

I know it feels good to finally have a job and supporting your family.

Hey Pete,

Adam commented on this, which he never does so I am very impressed. Anyway I just wanted to add my two cents in and say Congrats!!! I am sure that you have had a huge weight lifted off of your shoulders!! You will be such a huge hit with your girls and their friends. "my daddy gets to work with chocolate and make sure it's really yummy". I can just see it now. Anyway we love and miss your family and congrats again.

Congrats Pete. Congrats Cori too! I hear the Hershey's plant is amazing, you;ll have to tag along when he has to go out there. I hear the street lamps are shaped like Hershey kisses.
