Sunvalley, Idaho

We went to Sunvalley Idaho with Pete in April. Pete had some training meeting on Saturday, so we went up with him. Well, a few days before we left, K started puking. She just kept "spitting up" (her words) and throughout the nights she would beg for some water. We would cave in and give her some ice chips and then about 30 seconds later, she would puke it up again. Well we thought she was doing better and asked her on Friday if she wanted to go to the hotel or stay home (with R and mom). She said, with a sad, sick look on her face, "I want to go to the hotel". We started to drive up Antelope Drive and she started puking again. We were a little nervous and concerned so we took her to the Dr.'s (she had been puking for about 3 1/2 days). The Dr. checked her out and said that she had a bad case of the stomach flu and to try to keep her hydrated. So we again asked her if she wanted to stay or go to the hotel. Well she wanted to go to the hotel so off we went.

Here is what she looked like for most of the trip. She either was sleeping, begging for foood/water or puking. She puked all over her bedspread the first night.

R just wanted to explore everything. Here she is rummaging through the diaper bag. Look, she found some goldfish!!

The bedspread was kind of slippery and R was in a playful mood, so I slid her up and down the bed and she would laugh and the static electricity made her hair stand on end. What a goof-ball.

This is a photo of K feeling a little bit better. Shouldn't have given her that drink. She spit up later that night.

I thought K was doing better, but when we went to get something for me and R to eat, K started puking in the car. Luckily for me, she got it on her and her carseat. So I had to take her carseat in the hotel and wash it down. R loves to sit in chairs that she can get into by herself. So she spent about 30 min crawling in and out of the chair. (Yes, I did clean it before I let her play in it)>

Again, after K puked. It took so much out of her. I felt so bad for her. :(

We went out on Saturday to get some dinner. R was so tired that she could hardly keep her eyes opened. She looked a little drunk.

K feeling a little bit better. Yahoo!!

Crazy Pete driving. I love him!!!

This is the only way I get to be in pictures!! Cheese!

K doing "Chickawawa, Chickawawa" in her carseat.

The next day we went up to look at the Sawtooth mountains. K was feeling herself again, she was doing the 'rock-n-roll' sign even when she became tired and fell asleep.

Putting R in the car is like givig her a sleeping pill.

These were the beautiful Sawtooth mountains. It was cold and Stanley, Id had a population of about 10. Small town.

A quick snapshot of me and my honey. (after he had to take another pee, we were only in the car for about an hour).

A quick photo-op with the family and the camera timer.

Yeah, K is feeling better. What a silly little girl.

R isn't so sure of her sister. Check out that face.
Well that was our little trip to Idaho. So fun!
