White Trash Zoo

Pete had to go to a meeting in Brooksville, FL (which is up by Tampa). Well K and I decided to tag along and keep him company on the long 4 hour drive. While Pete was in his meeting K and I went to this place called "Citrus Attraction Zoo". It was the only thing that was close to do while he was at his meeting. Well, we got there and it was total white trash. But I needed something to entertain K for the next 2 hours that Pete was in the meeting. So we ventured in the "zoo". Boy was it creepy. The gift shop items looked like they haven't been updated since the place opened, about 15 years ago. And once we got out to the "zoo", it kind of made me get the creepy crawlies. The animals were donated from people, pet shops and rescued from other places. It was quite interesting. The photos of the few animals above were the most interesting there. All throughout the zoo K wanted me to hold her. Because of the big belly I have, I wasn't able to hold her very much, and I couldn't figure out why she didn't want to walk. (other than the fact it was all kind of creepy). Come to find out, she had a very high fever and didn't feel very good. A couple of days later, she broke out in a rash and we found out she had Roseola. Go figure. Anyway, I wouldn't suggest anyone going to that "zoo".
